Dear Veterans,

Everyone of you are welcome to be part of this blog INDIAN MILITARY VETERANS ONLINE SUPPORT GROUP. The primary purpose of this blog is to create a feeling of oneness among military veterans. We are huge in number but we are scattered all over the country and the majority of us live in rural areas and remote villages. All of us have difficulties regarding our pension. ECHS and CSD canteen facilities. Therefore, there is a felt need for a group that would guide us and  support us in solving  the issues that we face. You can discuss and post any service related you are facing, however trivial they are. We will discuss in detail in the group and guide you towards finding a solution.If there are any specific issues that are remaining unresolved, we will try and solve it by taking up with the authorities concerned. 

We would like to make it clear that this group is absolutely apolitical. We don't support or oppose any party. However, we respect the constitutional right of voting  guaranteed  to all of us and we have a national duty to exercise them as dictated by our conscience.  We encourage all of you to exercise this power without fail. Similarly we are also areligious. We don't support or oppose any religion. Therefore all participants in the group are strictly advised not to post any political or religion related messages. Such messages can divide us rather than uniting us. Similarly the routine messages like  GOOD MORNING, GOOD EVENING, GOOD NIGHT, birthday wishes and anniversary greetings may be avoided as far as possible, However we will have a separate window to post OBITUARY MESSAGES for the information of our group but no further  messages on the same like RIP and Condolences etc.

In the blog we shall strive to post all the important messages and orders issued by all the agencies of the Ministry of Defence and Government of India, related to Ex-Servicemen. We will also upload all useful information and reports issued over a period of time for reference. The blog also will have a CHAT WINDOW, where all of us are allowed to participate after registration with the e-mail ids. While all of you are encouraged to participate in the CHAT WINDOW, we are expected to use polite and decent language while chatting. NO abuses and aberrations. Everyone has the right to his views and let us learn to respect them. The blog will have a DISCUSSION PLATFORM where we are all permitted to post topics of interest to us for detailed discussion
